To all the haters who think mt pop doesn't pop hard, go watch his second round. He can pop hard, but it all depends on the music. I've seen way too many poppers popping way too hard for no reason, no matter what type of music is playing. The majority of the poppers just dance the same, no matter the type of music playing.

EXACTLY! Greenteck is my fave dancer ever but even he pops too hard for no reason and it doesn't go with the song sometimes.

Yup he embodies the music so well and is super dynamic. He has blended many different styles. It's fun to watch and he's entertaining.

Yo honestly, Iron Mike never stood a chance. MT Pop got that creative versatility on lock, giving him the ability to switch it up on a dime, and can adapt his moves accordingly to whatever occasion arises. He's just too clean with it.

MT Pop shines most when unique beats like this. He’s able to change his style and vibes perfectly with the beat. When he was on his knees and started moving his hands with the bass drop, i lost my sh!t I really liked how Iron Mike started with the glasses. It almost looked like a stop motion film. But MT Pop is on a different level man.

I have to say this. For years and decades the people in the Electric Boogaloo system and their “family” have completely destroyed the essence of popping with Lies and Bully Tactics. A lot of good poppers in 2000s-2010s were dope but won’t be remembered. It feels real good. That MT Pop, and other dope poppers who don’t want to be about that style perference are finally writing wrongs. That happened. It’s going to back to pure free for all difference of talent and skill now. MT pop is the best asian popper I have seen ever. No debate. This is only a fraction of karma. That will come. Now let’s start bringing back cyphers and essence of rules in this craft. It will be all the way back moving forward in America.💯

For sure, competitions were so formulaic and boring. Guys like MT Pop and Slim Boogie to me are (some of) the pioneers of really dancing in YOUR style while still having the foundation.

@@cordellgibson6037 Slim Boogie even though he showed a different style. He was still part of the problem when it came to aligning himself with the EBs and EB fam, and not speaking up to bad judges on that side. He used that to pick his own self up all while Saying nothing about it. seeing something is the same thing of doing wrong when you see wrong. He’s good don’t get it twisted but just because your good doesn’t mean you were a good person joining them because to me that was all a plain to maintain the EB bias💩 at jams cheating people who should have been in the spotlight. There were battles he straight up lost in and it was hand given to him. He and others know it, but I understood where you coming from.💯

Foundation is one thing but you joining a group like EBs knowing they were preaching saying EB style is thee ONLY foundation for decades and instead of calling it out you joined and thr benefitted off of competitions because of it ain’t cool. We celebrate guys like MT Pop who litterally didn’t get co-signs, didn’t pander, and didn’t have to benefit, MT pop earned it, and earn the win. When’s the last time we ever saw Slim not join a competition without anyone from the EBs? And when we didn’t see them did he win. No. MT pop did though. I said he is best Asian popper. Which also he can be argued as the best popper in the world as of right now.💯

yeah, one of the reasons most popular poppers switched to EB Style.

@@ronin_boogz. EB style was only popular because of lies. One of the lies was claiming since they had most videos of the crew that it was the only footage of popping. Which was a whole lie. Then tried to take claim for the foundation of popping as a whole they never made. You cheated and bullied a lot of dope dancers who wanted to explore different styles of popping all to keep the EB style relevant from 2000s- to early 2010s were filled with talented poppers who never got credit or shine they supposed to get because they refused to do EB style. That y’all blackballed or never speak about that was going on. It’s time to face the facts. People love to dodge that point. But go to “popular” talk. But guess what that train going to completely die soon.💯
