Green comes in close 2nd though. Especially the lack of boogaloo makes MT Pop not a complete allrounder. At times there could be more fluidity and space management. But he compensates by insane musicality and high level of his shapes style paired with unmatched creativity.

This was a GREAT battle, i loved Jikay's funkiness. Unfortunately he just couldn't overcome the onslaught of technical concepts and combos that MT Pop brought, no shame in that. MT Pop was on a mission in this competition, he was gunning for the crown.

Jikay is a good example of a fresh face getting what he deserves!! Good event this one. MT Pop definitely took all 3 rounds here. He was doing better beat freaks and his level of playing with the 8 counts is much higher than Jikay. Pair that with his unlimited concepts, taking the win looked simple. It was interesting to see Jikay do very well on the first electro round with boogaloo foundations :D I loved it! That shows that he really understands the movements in the boogaloo manifesto to a very high level. Not only that, I think he truly feels the electro and funk music and should explore other styles to really bring out the best of himself.

@@Arareemote Imo, Greenteck only lose to those poppers with a very distinct style, such as Slim Boogie, Gucchon, etc. However, a style master like MTPOP, who masters in tutting and strutting, or Kite, who masters boogaloo and crazy legs, would lose to Greenteck because he can dance with all existing styles and effortlessly interchanges between them.
