Like other well-warned disasters, so many people will say “Oh we had no warning why didn’t anyone tell us…” as they argued against and ignored all this evidence that geologists used to warn us. Thank you geologists for your work.

well when you build a town near, and down river from a huge volcano, don't act surprised when it does what it has done many times before, and will do again.
