Get excited for an amazing summer rock climbing day on Mt Ruapehu's Pinnacle Ridge! On ANZAC DAY, we climbed the cool-sounding Great Pinnacle, Second Pinnacle, and First Pinnacle, all way up high above 2000 meters.
Even though it's kinda easy to get there, just be careful because the weather can change a lot, and the mountain can be tricky. Have fun climbing on solid rocks that are better than they look, and stay safe.

Hey great video! looking to do it this year around ANZAC weekend! How long was your rope, and did you leave many slings behind?

Hey, Cody, I believe the weather wasn't great around the ANZAC weekend, but hopefully you got to climb it. We did leave a couple of slings behind from rappelling; the rope was 60m. It wasn't a particularly difficult climb, but strong wind would make it less pleasant.
