Beautiful!!💪🏼 did you guys take main trail and up the chute right of the 99 switchbacks?? I have permits July 12th . Any advice and suggestions would be greatly appreciated 🙏🏼🤍

Thank you! 🙂 Yes, we took the main trail through the 99 switchbacks up to the Trail crest and then straight to the Mt.Whitney summit and back to the Whitney portal. In July you schouldn't have snow on the route, it should be easier to hike.

Going on July 12th. Heard the switchbacks are still covered so would appreciate how your trip went last week and how the hike up the the chute looked and if you had to hike down or if there was still enough snow to glissade. Thanks!
