Just gotta dive into the depths of youtube and bandcamp. Bandcamp is a good way of finding new music. There is a tool where you can type tags/genres and narrow the music you wanna find. For instance I like indie pop/shoegaze/bedroom pop, so I type all of those and find things that way.

Personally I think LiS2's story is perfectly layered, it has dark moments, and then the chill and peaceful moments before it catches up on the depressing moments again and it's amazing how the soundtrack reflects that.
