MTA New York City Subway - 2019 Bombardier R179 Trains

Video and if you are wondering the number sequence starts with 3010 because the MTA decided to continue the R110B B division new technology train 3001-3009 number sequence which was also made by the Bombardier Corporation in the 1990s. 10 car trains are found on the A train from Upper West Side Manhattan 207th Street down to Far Rockaway Queens via World Trade Center Port Authority bus terminal and JFK Airport

I found out after the fact that these rain on the A train, and I honestly had no clue the first one was 3010. I just assumed the numbers dropped down to the 3xxx series because the last R160s were 99xx and there wasn't enough room to continue from there, so they found the first available gap in numbering. Good to know there was a bit of history with the choice.

The same video cip I posted, is part of the ride I did. I only went from Lorimer to Broad Street though. I guess I'll upload that clip this week. I will need a fresh set of batteries to do the full ride though, haha.
