Oh god, thanks for reminding me that the J exists. I was mugged as I got off at the Myrtle Ave station to transfer to an M. Thankfully there wasn't much cash in my wallet, but it was scary af.

Is it true that nearly all of those trains were r160 alstom?

No the J/Z uses R179s and R32s I believe. The F also uses R46s
