MTA NYCT: Casey Stengel Bus Depot Review.

HOLY CRAP! We've finally reach the last Queens bus depot that I am reviewing before the bus redesign, the very famous (or infamous) Casey Stengel Depot. But is the depot still everything that it used to be or is a pile of crap on par with JFK Depot.

Btw, you forgot the X51 which operated out of this depot, it ran from Flushing to Manhattan and then it got discontinued since it basically follows the 7 train and port Washington branch

That's a awesome video that you had done about Casey Stangle Deopt aka The Old Flushing Deopt. Sir . I had alot of memories on riding the Q-44 when I was in High School when I was doing my work suudy program at New York Medicaid Center of Queens. In the late 1990's . Back then the Deopt use Orion V's and NFl Vikings 4500 and MCI Did you know that CS use to us RTS Fishbowl aka the Blitz Bus as well as Flexible Bus . I'm not to sure about Grumman thoe. But CS use to have a few bus routes that don't exist nomore like Q-14 and X-32 and X51. They use have the Q-27 . But Queens Village had took it. C.S has really step it's game up when it came down to there Buses in late 2000's the Orion VII O.G and then the Orion VII Next-Gens also had started coming then C.S had to replace some of there older Orion V. In 2014-15 the X-40 had stepped in and LSFE had to push out of some of the Next-Gens.

I agree - awesome video and well researched. This video covered all my local routes: my hometown Q13; I take the Q12 from Flushing only because I like the accordion buses. Rode the Q31 for 20 years to Queens College and later to a job in Jamaica. Occasionally take the Q30 & Q28. Overall, a good video.
