I got Misplitter only after getting two Unforged back then.. Please don't get it, even though it technically gets good stats i noticed i actually never use it. It's pretty much only worth If you are a Ayaka or Kequing Main. Lol. And Engulfing same with Raiden and Xiangling kinda.

A note here- If you are playing Rational (or any team with Bennett) Use Electro Goblet over Attack Goblet since you are getting so much attack percentage from Bennett and if you are playing a team which doesn't give that much attack perc but gives you dmg percent then go for attack goblet..

Honestly I agree at how underrated Ayato is. I've mained Childe since his release up until Ayato's release and not having to play around Childe's E CD was refreshing and Ayato just ended up being more fun and doing more damage for me.

People always say Childe does more damage. This is incorrect, yes you can setup a vape nuke on Childe's burst but other than that Childe is just enabling other charaters wheras Ayato is enabling other characters and doing better dps. Again I know Childe can vape his burst and is higher dps with bennett xiangling but Ayato has better dps in literally any other comp

@@QMS9224 nah, your view is the one that isn't true. While Ayato is underrated, Childe will always vape his ult and front load at least 250K damage from it (not the melee ult, the ranged ult) and he does the same damage as Xiangling in International, then once you're in AoE he actually does more damage. My Childe is on a 70/200 build while Ayato is on 80/240 and I can judge them very well after playing them for so long and TCing their kits. Ayato is just more versatile, while is obviously a selling point, but the issue for him is that Yelan exists and she can play in the same teams while being off field. Does Ayato have value? Absolutely. He's better in Dendro teams than Childe by a big amount and that's awesome because you can play both of them on the 2 sides of the abyss and have 2 really strong teams.

If some of you are like me who is very very VERY lazy to fish and farm "The Catch" you can always try out the other 4 star pole arms, with the downside of having less dmg overall. Favonius Lance - It's a pretty decent polearm if you really want the ER. Problem is the polearm's passive is reliant on CRT so you'll be sacrificing some of your substats on your artifacts with more CRT. Dragons Bane - although the passive is good against Hydro and Pyro afftected enemies. The weapons Substat being EM will be largely wasted, afaik Raiden Shogun doesn't need EM. So you are once again going to sacrifice most of your substats in artifacts for more ER. Kitain Cross Spear (craftable) - Same reason for Dragons Bane. Wasting a bunch of EM for something not important on Raiden Shogun, but the difference here is that Kitain Cross Spear has more Base ATK. The passive increases Elem Skill dmg which isn't important and makes you lose 3 energy while gaining % of energy (depending on the refinement) every 2s. It's not much of a good weapon imo as it mostly only works for thoma. And same reason for Dragons Bane, sacrificing artifact substats for more ER in this case. Moonpiercer (craftable) - Again same reason for the other 2 spears. It has a EM substat that's wasted for Raiden Shogun. It's also a weapon that relies on dendro reactions so this one is my least recommended. Prototype Grudge (craftable) - Probably the worst one of all. Despite having ER as a substat, the Passive just sucks overall. Her Elemental burst doesn't really count as normal and charged atk since it's burst dmg so the passive for this weapon just won't work for her. Probably a "last-resort-weapon" if you have most of your other weapons equipped on other units.

I think it's pointless mentioning any weapon other than Fav Lance here. You'd build crit stats on Raiden anyway so the incentive to have crit rate isn't a downside at all, especially since her burst hit has a large AoE ,and her burst and skill hits opponents multiple times during her time on the field to proc the passive. It's not like you do her first slash in her burst and swap off. There's also the Wavebreaker's Fin and Blackcliff pole which were not mentioned.

@@comradelovespain5714 I didn't mention the blackcliff pole as it's locked behind a "paywall system". Most of the ones I mentioned can be obtained much easier without having to spend too much for refinements (plus blackcliff poles passive sucks for fighting bosses especially the abyss so I generally thought of not mentioning it anymore). As for wavebreaker's fin, it's a decent weapon overall. But since Raiden Shogun needs that ER and the dmg difference is little imo are a bit wasteful. Favonius Lance is indeed the best option here. I'm just saying that trying to build CRT RTE for the weapon passive to work properly is quite hefty since getting 60-70 CRT RTE isn't ideally easy to get often unless you are using a weapon that has the crt rte substat.

@@Zliarx you can totally get Blackcliff pole fully f2p, it just takes a bit of time. I'm still quite unsure what you mean about the "hefty" crit rate requirement for the favonius Lance. The passive can only proc once in her on field time, during which she makes multiple hits (again with both her skill and her burst), giving her plenty if chances to proc the passive, even at low refinements with relatively low crit rate. In any case, you'd be aiming for _at least_ 50% crit rate anyways. It doesn't take a lot of investment to get there, especially with a crit rate circlet and the base 5% crt rate every character has.

Merry christmas to me!! I had 333 wishes saved up I managed to get Raiden and Ayato, and both of their weapons back to back. Also got C4 Diluc and C2 Qiqi. And then I bought some standard wishes from the shop for some Starglitter cuz I was close to pity there aswell. And I got 3 5* stars on a 10 pull, Mona, Skyward Blade and Skyward Spine. I had none of those. I have never gotten this lucky in Genshin, sht was crazy! Also I live in Europe so banner just dropped 58 mins ago, im still processing..haha

just as a note, with engulfing lightning, you really want an electro damage bonus. Engulfing gives a boatload of atk percent which offsets the need for more on your goblet. for the catch atk percent and electro are about equal

The only real time atk percent will ever be better is if you're buffing with yelan kazhuha and have no external attack buffs. She does get quite a bit of damage percent from her kit but damage percent is also just... better for buffing. In your average Bennet kazuha Sara hypercarry you will always prefer electro goblet, but atk goblet is close. Benny and Sara provide ridiculous amounts of attack so damage percent is much more valuable Because engulfing actually gives a ton of it's own atk percent, electro goblet is actually a good deal better. That said... I mean, everything is substat dependant. We're talking roughly equal CV here Don't put out misinifo

People often make this mistake everyone knows crit value now but often ignore other stats. A good general guideline is 50 CR = 100 CD = 1400 atk = 50% (electro) dmg bonus. So if you have 75 cr 150 cd you should aim for around 2000 atk and 75% damage bonus etc...

My Ayato's build and stats are pretty much the exact same as yours (except he's triple crowned because I main him and had to do it on principle) and I love him. His performance isn't the most outrageous compared to the meta waifus, I'm aware, but he is super consistent in his damage output, hella easy to play and flexible with his team comps too. I'll get him from C1 to C3 later today because he deserves it, haha.

I dont understand why people put so much effort into EM on Raiden when you play her in Hypercarry or Raiden National. If Raiden plays Overvape like in the National Variation she is NOT the trigger for Overload so you dont want the EM on Raiden. You want EM on the Xiangling for example. So building Raiden and focussing on EM on substats in non Dendro Teams is kinda useless. Getting Atk% for example is way more usefull. Imo Mtashed would already upgrade his Raiden very easily if he would drop down in EM and get Atk%.

Here's the thing: you DON'T need a C2 Raiden and I don't recommend anyone go for constellations by spending money, but if you can save enough primos and are willing to skip a quite a few banners, her C2 pretty much makes up for those skips. Having 3 Raiden copies is such a fun and broken time that you don't even need a 4-unit team anymore - just have a C2 Raiden and, say, Dendro Traveller and you're all set.

Comparing these my F2P Raiden is almost identical, though I have a touch more ATK and Crit Rate. Also have Engulfing Lightning, got very lucky as almost never wish on weapons but it’s the only signature weapon I have. My Ayato only has R1 Black Sword and Gladiators but slaps for around 21-25K each hit of his skill on a hyper-carry team with Yun-Jin + Bennett + flex (Zhongli, Kazuha, Xingqiu etc.). Waiting for another Yun-Jin banner as want C6 to speed up his skill and add DPS. But Venti + Ganyu + Diona is also a fun one when Venti’s grouping works. Always nice to see not too far off the streamers 😊

This is a great team, my two main Ayato hypercarry teams are the one you mentioned (I assume you mean Yun Jin) and a second with Zhongli instead of Bennett. But he also works very well in taser and bloom based teams. Good luck!

There's a neat Ayato+Raiden hyperbloom team that looks pretty fun. It makes Raiden more budget friendly as literally all you need or want on her is levels, and EM. Her C2 also doesn't matter, and the weapon you want is Dragon's Bane. Ayato you just build like normal. Just DMC ult, Raiden E, pop Ayato out and he just does his thing while constantly procing hyperbloom. The 4 character can be whoever. idk maybe Yujin could be good? Apparently this is one of Raiden's best hyperbloom teams.

considering the set bonus of enblem, usually 300% is the maximum ER you wanna get for Raiden shogun. more ER will be saturated. if you have engulfing ligtning, you just need 270% ER. the passive of the weapon give you 30% ER after you press Q, that's already 300%. She only needs her Q for damage.

I have the same problem with my Hu Tao. I almost never use her anymore due to how much damage I dish out with her charged attacks inside her E ability. I get bored VERY quickly. My Raiden's crit stats are better (53.6%/154.9%) and uses The Catch with an Atk Sands due to the crit value it has. I did pick up C2 'cos I wanted it as soon as I saw it. She holds my dmg record, so not really any point going higher. My Ayato is solid actually. I really like him. I run him with Fischl, Yelan and Jean (C2 for atk spd) and he uses a Jade Cutter (which I got last time around on your recommenation). If I am being truthful, I prefer Tartaglia. I run a hyperbloom/aggravate hybrid team with him, Nahida, Fischl and Zhong Li and they blow up everything against multi-mob encounters, plus Tartaglia's fighting style is SO much fun. Ayato also works really well with Shimenawa's. Use his E until it's done, and generate particles to make up the energy you lose, drop his Q, swap out and go through your cycle and when you get back to him he's back to full to rinse and repeat.

Yes, it's an ok set for him but honestly, with equal stats it's the last wheel of the carriage after his bis, hydro and gladiator. That said it's still a good option if you plan to farm the emblem set and don't have any suitable artifacts in the others available.

generally you don't want to use shimenawas ayato because your rotations generally start with Q into E and that stops you from proccing shimenawas. Most units really should not use shimenawas, the only ones that shouldn't are ones who are so burst-unreliant that not using burst every rotation is worth it (e.g. hu tao, yoimiya, wanderer). Ayato isn't extremely burst reliant but he does get a decent amount of damage through his burst.

I would rather run Heart of Depth, Gladiator or the Anemo set then wasting Ayato's energy for tiny extra damage

@@Gonzora It's actually his best in slot if you play it right. Drop the ult first, do your team rotation, go back to him having more than 15 energy and he does the most damage then. He does need some ER for that tho, around 135% is fine with Fav weapons on the team

best thing about playing since launch, u already got most of the tools ull ever need. take it casual, do the dailys with the 5 dollar pass and when an interesting banner does drop, u literally have a few thousand primos to pull with. i treat genshin as a boot and chill game, no sweat beads required

I just got Raiden after 60 pull win 50 50, she insanely powerful and good ! Farming all her materials including the catch weapon to R5 like 1 month ago totally worth it! I got good artifacts too but only Crit ratio not so good, She team up with Nahida, Xiangling and Bennett super fast clearing the Spiral Abyss, Im so damn happy! Yes I dont think I need her C2 and Engulfing lightning for now... my primos left 5k so im gonna save to get Ayaka soon

We all know how the highest and so-called "most difficult" world level is 8, an addition I would love to see would be including an optional increased world level (level 9). For me, the weapon banner is so good. I was set on getting engulf. Or the sword cause it can work on my keqing or other sword dps. Glad I got my shogun’s weapon.

the blue sword is not as good on keqing, compared to mist splitter and jade cutter. the blue sword basicall only buffs normal attack. but keqing's damge are mostly on charged attack and burst. but still, it's better than other 4 star weapns though.

5:00 , you cant really burst down everything with 1 hit from c0 raiden, to be fair c0 raiden ceiling damage is not even that busted. In hypercarry comp, most you would do is around 200k initial hit with bennett,sara and kazuha. 200k+ does nothing to 1.4 million bosses in abyss, how many rotation would it take. I rather use c0 raiden in hyperbloom team instead. Even with my C3 raiden + catch would need 2 rotation to kill those late bosses in 12-3-1 chamber. I understand that is useless since u will get 3 star anyway, but some people just like big number.
