Sudhanshu Walia it's not about the bike but the rider, but for sure a better bike would make a lot of difference, for such a course, scalpel is a good choice because of being lightweight, best suspensions and great brakes combined with an amazing frame

Hmm i don't know what you think but i am from solan and have done this track many times. It looks difficult but frankly its not you don't need a mtb to get off this mountain, even that old atlas cycle will work.. Need hard tracks in himachal?? You should go for bijli mahadev track in kullu, chood dhar track in solan/shimla, shrikhand mahadev track in kullu. Karol tibba track is for kids
