Great video as always. This is a lovely trail. We stopped in a holiday cottage last year about a miles before the k2 climb. I persuaded the wife to ride this route with me on our ebikes, 😂🤣😂🤣 She hated it 🤣, she's refused point blank to go on a technical trail since. Personally I really enjoyed it. I have to say it's reassuring that you couldn't get up k2 without pushing either. The rest of the route is great, and the café is excellent, even had a real ale when we were there!

Now then Boots. You’re in my neighbourhood there. Glad you found paradise. There’s an option to make the route easier but still enjoyable, just missing out the mud fest and the beast of the climb that is K2. Park respectfully in Boltby Village and make your way to the gate at the start of the fire road climb up to Sutton Bank Visitors Centre. Then follow the route as usual all the way to the rock garden descent towards Kirby Knowle. Once at Kirby Knowle, just ride the roads back to Boltby. You’ll miss out the K2 climb (think you called it Boltby Bank) but that climb is a hellish mud fest 10 months of the year, even on an eeb. It’s only around 2 1//2 miles of tarmac but it’s a dead quiet road with amazing views and well worth doing instead of that hellish climb

Just started watching you. Getting back into mountain biking. If you wanted to do something different. Where you went though the gate after leaving the wood where you start to descend into boltby. You could go past the gate and you'll come to a crossroad road go right as doubling back on your Self this will take you to a monster of a descent. Into hawnby there's a little coffee shop there. It's road back up to the top of Sutton bank big claim back though

Went yday got lost. Kept going backwards round the trail after the farm at the start @1:45 .. or back to the trail centre. Did 16mile looking for it before the rain picked up so I just left it there. But I believe I missed a right turn shortly after hitting a corner at the bottom of this fencing. Anyway never mind just wanted ti ask if I had missed any jump sections. Is there any propa sends in this trail ? And did 13mile in dalby few days back was not really 'my thing' either 😅. Just seemed to climb forever !!
@BOTG_Adventures2 жыл бұрын
1.45.. Ya got lost? You turn right and go through the gate there is sign on the gate if I remember. Jumps? No not at all. I did mention its a great chilled Sunday xc trail. Think enjoyable rather than demanding. I will go again as first ride back on the bike and see where ya went wrong.
