Igor Bujanović yes!! It’s crazy how different the place is in the summer !!! Take your skis too if you want as the glacier still has some runs open 👌😜

@@MtbTrailHub He, he, will do ;-) Really looking forward to visit Tignes in summer. I was there many years ago (in summer) with my motorbike, but it is not the same. I love this place!

very nice. What´s your opinion : Morzine Vs TIgnes/Val d ´Isere ?
@MtbTrailHub2 жыл бұрын
Thankyou Jose, It's a hard choice and both are amazing...... Hard to beat Morzine for a weeks holiday based in one place. Lots of great riding all connected within one lift system. On the other hand if you want quieter trails and happy to road trip around the area i'd choose the Tarentaise area (Tignes,La Plagne, St foy, Meribel etc) which has lot's of smaller bike parks but require travel in between. Final verdict; If you want a plug and play great time, great trails then Morzine is the one. If you want to escape crowds and go exploring then Tarantaise ! Hope that helps

Class video, what time of year did you go?

Thanks Robert, Really enjoyed making this one! This was early August 2019. You may be interested, I'm running a holiday to this area next year. Give me a shout if you want any details.

@@MtbTrailHub thanks, but we've already booked for early July, I just hope the weather is okay. It was a toss up between morzine and tignes, what is your opinion between them?
@MtbTrailHub4 жыл бұрын
robertglaister yeah weather should be fine. It’s usually quite hot around that time with a few storms thrown in😁. Yeah it’s a tough call, Morzine is a bigger and more accessible area but Tignes has quieter trails and makes for a good day trip/family area. I’d say Morzine if you want to really go hard at the riding with no traveling. Or Tignes if you’re after a bit more of a road trip whilst visiting other resorts and get off the beaten track. Hope that helps👍

Very useful insight. It looks the alpine mtb trails are like their ski pistes......narrow and poorly built when compared to their North American counterparts.
@MtbTrailHub4 жыл бұрын
Glad to help, I've never had a problem with the pistes or trails to be honest apart from the odd poorly made berm or 2.......
