Thanks for the video. I too an looking at a Vito now. I want a simple set up and this seems like a good fit, the long version. Anything features that you would look for in the van if you were to buy the vito again?

I have a same van 9place vito, but the seats can't not be put down.😩 do you have any idea about how the seats like the yours cost?

I think the sky is the limit really. If I had the extra long, I would build a box to put behind the rear seats with cut outs for wheels to stand the bikes in. Have a couple of lift doors too for stuff. Good luck!

Pretty sure I’ve seen your Vito about as I’m local to you, has it got different wheels now? I’ve also got a Vito and it’s definitely perfect for all the bike trips.

Still got the same wheels. I have been looking at other options, but then potholes keep changing my mind back.

@@AshfordMTB I had the standard 16’s on mine with 60 profile tyres which cracked a wheel, I’ve changed them to some 18’s with 40 profile tyres and so far no cracks (touch wood).

You still got this? And did you have any issues with it? I’m seriously contemplating getting the 8/9 seater version and remove the rear seats for my bike when needed, for lugging diy materials around when I need them and maybe a small bed when I’m working if I’m off work late lol. Ps love the door plaque, I have a similar Mickey Mouse one 👍🏼

Hi, yes I still have it! I have just had to change the water pump at 180,000 miles. It seems it was the original item in there too. Other than that, it has been great. Not sure if I should tell my wife about the door plaque appreciation, she does not need any more encouragement!

Oh, and the drivers electric window regulator pulley. That was a £3.50 fix or something like that.

That calibra! Must admit Vito's are X10 times better than transporters had nothing but issues with everyone I've had. Now I've got a Vito it's been nothing but brilliant never let me down had it over 3 years 290k on the clock facelift w639 same engine.

Ah yes, I miss that. It's an LE Turbo that I owned for 12yrs and I regret selling it. But saying that, I wish I could have kept all of my car's. Good to hear about your Vito!

@@AshfordMTB if only we had a big field and lock up most the cars would be 10-15k. My first ever car was a vauxhall nova ;). There worth 5k now crazy I couldn't give mine away back in those days.

Haha, yes man. I have that thought too. My wife's 1st car was a Nova, Great motor. Mine was a Fiesta XR2, same story with those too.
