Just pre-ordered the mten4 750Wh as my first EUC despite all the warnings about smaller wheel = less stability aka less beginner friendly advice on almost every mten4 review video 😂definitely needed this video to calm my nerves a bit. Difficult may mean time consuming, but doesn't mean unlearnable and the price for performance and portability is hard to beat! If anything.. practicing on this little rocket will make the big rockets feel like cake! 👍

Did ya get it? I can confirm it’s easier to learn on, I taught two people on it within 15 minutes. Taking much longer to teach on the v8f I have

@zaftlife Got it! Could balance on it in a day.. took a couple weeks for feet to stop cramping.. since then it's been my backup transportation to almost everywhere! (Small groceries.. to/from work now and then).. wish these could be ordered with an official trolly pre-installed though.. it's like a somewhat heavy dumbell to carry around..

Re: pads, I've been riding since 2017, and pads are just an absolute necessity whenever you get a new EUC. I don't do jumps or go off-road, but pads are used for accelerating/decelerating - super relevant if you're navigating traffic. Pads are like seatbelts, and I now feel unsafe riding without them. Also, I just ordered the Gen 2 Small Clark Pads for the Mten4. If they don't fit, I'll come back and edit this comment.

I learned on a Mten3. Try adjusting your feet or your tire pressure that might help with the wobbles. Welcome to Wheel Life. Nice video.

I got my first wheel a couple weeks ago, t4. one thing that helped me stop wiggling/speed wobble is positioning my feet on on the edge of the pedals, the further your feet are out the most stable it seems to be.

Yeah I have been riding for about a year and I can remember when it clicked. It's so much fun riding. Now you need a Sherman :)

try and calibrate the wheel in the app if you get pedal dipping. Also the wobbling is all you. Your muscles and nerves are learning, but it will go away after a while..

In a month you are gonna laugh at yourself. I don't even remember anymore how bad I was. I DO remember that it was so hard I wanted to quit at one point. My feet were killing me.

I'm already significantly better, I'm still in the process of editing a video soon to release of me on a trail with the Mten4-- but already viewing that footage I look worse than I am now. I do find that having some EUC time and then taking a day or two off makes a difference in muscle memory, as if I'm sleeping and dreaming EUC haha.

@@Cons2911 to be honest it is not. The mten4 is harder to learn on vs an inmontion v12. I started on a small whell. once I got my larger wheel it was WAY easier.

I'm getting this! It's going to be awhile since I'm broke, save a little by time, and while I"m saving for it. I will tryi to lose some wieght cuz I think it can't hold my 370Ib self.

good luck on getting one! they are really fun. the mten4 maxes out at 240lbs or so. check out the begode falcon, that might work for you

i want this as last mile solution to get to the next trainstation after an outlanding. could you imagine yourself riding this with a bulky bagback of 18kg/40lbs?

you'd likely want one with longer range, larger diameter wheel, and suspension to handle rocks and roots and ground imperfections. this could work if the trek out & back under 12-14 miles, but not sure about wearing a 40 lbs pack-- good luck! a begode t4 pro probably makes more sense

Holiday event, each shed had a vendor apparently. I think they plan to keep the sheds up permanently now since they used to use tents here
