MTF Transition: Choosing to have the "Surgery"

My spouse and I have been help a dear friend and her spouse with her transition. I took care of her when she have face feminization surgery before she got married. Now that she is going for bottom surgery we will once more help with the after care and such. I often read or see videos of this surgery so as to become familiar with the full process. In as much as I’m both intersex and transgender I’ve also have had many surgeries myself because of testicular / ovarian type cancer. My both is mostly male but I did have ovarian tissue and germ cell teratoma that caused me much suffering. I guess a time will present itself where I can have the final surgery too.
