BTS worked for years to get where they are. They went through many failures then they eventually had successes. If companies think that they can get their group to immediate success is just not the way to go. Like Boracity Magazine said, they should grow into becoming their own group, their own sound, their own message, they should become THEIR OWN. Their goal should be their own. BTS did all of these, before they were popular they thought about what they wanted to say, what they wanted to put out into the world. They did just that, even if it wasn't popular to do so in Korea. BTS are their own successes and if companies want their group to be on BTS level right away, they're going to have to work for it. Either way, there's no 'next BTS', their success can't be replicated again.

Honestly it's kind of embarrassing how media articles say in the titles how so and so group with be "the next BTS" and that the companies endorse this, they want media articles to say that. It just goes to show how fluid the identity of those groups are if a company can 'advertise' them as the next BTS. It's sad as well. Those groups can't even keep their identity solid without their own companies pushing that they will be the "next BTS", their success will surpass BTS, or they will become the next hot trend!! The reason I say that is because although BTS changed a lot from their early years, they still kept their identity and even matured their identity, musically, as a group, and individually! They explored but they still remained grounded. Their company, Bighit at the time, never did this! Not even once, they even declined the rhetoric that they will be the "next Beatles" or the Beatles of today". The same can't always be said about some kpop groups under big labels like jyp and sm. I believe identity is very important for music groups.

Now that each member is going solo and they are already breaking records and succeeding, I'm pretty sure the next BTS is BTS. YG's mediaplay is crazy and Lee soman never gets tired to trying to find the next bts lmao. BTS is special and are already legends. They went through so much sht since their debut, they never had it easy and they literally opened the door or paved the way for the k-pop industry. (What Army means with that, is that k-pop industry now have A LOT of attention and opportunities that they didn't have almost it all internationally.) Now k-pop even have more chances to promote in important places, attend and submit their music in important awards that they never dreamed about before. The "BTS paved the way" doesn't mean that BTS made the career of their favs like some kpoppies thinks. It's that thanks to BTS, other groups and solo k-pop artists has brought way more attention of the international public. BTS put K-pop in the spotlight. If they still doesn't have the same success they expected and if it looks like BTS is social distancing in the charts, awards compared to the rest of the industry then it's on them. It's not because "Army just supports bts, is closed minded and not interested in becoming a fan of other artists" because trust me, a lot of us have give k-pop a chance but we don't found anything special or felt a connection, and second, it's not an obligation. We are just full with BTS lmao. 💜 And sadly, when BTS achieves something, a lot of people and media say that k-pop was the one who won something when it's not. It should be name only as BTS achievements because they are the ones that are really succeeding, it was because of their own hard work and they are the ones that are making historic things that even for western artist it's not easy it all... That's why BTS are the truly legends here. Mediaplay goes crazy but if you look in detail you will notice that the majority of times, when they get the same achievements, the get the achievements but paying or making strategies and that makes them really absurd (and most of the time is not even the other idols fault but their company). That just proves that they are not confident with their own artists impact and music.. why they are not focusing instead on improving their idols music, talents or whatever instead? they are just trying to make them legends when they don't have a good or relevant level of artistry, they just haven done 10% of what BTS and Army have done and achieved. We have made all of that without the help of connections, cheating or paying for something. People are too focus and some desperate trying to find or make the "next BTS" but we all know there's not next BTS just like Yoongi said because they are unique. A talented group with 7 members, each of them brig something different to the table, they have their own struggles and stories and when the 7 are together there's nothing like that. 22:38 Fyi BTS didn't try to do or copy another group from the 90's like what you said. They just had a concept and their roots are hiphop because of RM, Yoongi and JHope being the first ones to join the company. They change their concepts over time to not limit what they can do.

in my opnion, there's no going to be ''next BTS'' 'cause you can't make their unique story to be like the ''next bts''. not only they were truly honest from the first place, not only bcause their bond, not bcause their freaking talents, not bcause they produce and write their own songs by themselvs but (like Jhope said once): it's a fate. if someone who doesnt know them enough (like me in the begining) it looks like a cinderella story. well, you can make a movie about cinderella story but in reality you can't take teenagers from the streets (like what happened to the members themselvs) and ,makes them "the next bts". BTS themselevs never thought that they would be that big. their mission was to help people by their music, and now look what happened. it's way much more that helping people. and they deserve it. they deserve all the happiness and awards in the world after what they did to people, to their Army.

I like watching people figure out that what makes BTS so successful, and still do the same thing over and over. Even though it's one part its the biggest part. The put in the work and suffered through. They had belief in the plan they set forth for themselves and focused strictly on that. It's funny that people talk without knowing. SuperM is a group that was created in base of the investment of a USA company in SM, they asked lee so man to create a new group so lee so man doing what he did before, creating a new subunit with the preexisting groups to promote them better just as Younique unit, SM ballad, SM performance, SM orchestra etc. It's soo funny because literally what is the concept of BTS, how BTS was trained, how BTS was promoting, is all created in base from SM or the other big3. And yes BTS is BTS, but BB IS BB, Suju is suju. Etc. Every group is unique. Every group work hard, and every group deserves what they got and even more.
