@LegenVD I was Berserkergang, the one playing the minotaur deck! I had no Deathbellow Warcry in hand, just 2 Irencrag Feat and minotaurs unfortunately, so I thought I might as well use one of the Ironcrags and cast Moraug. Karn really shuts this deck down, and there are also a lot of turn 1 Thoughtseizes that take apart the combo... Anyway, good game again my man, I absolutely love your channel, you're a good player, deck builder and a good sport. Greetings from Flanders! I edited some card names that I messed up, oops!

That deck in modern with a 0 cost creature and Infernal Purge can turn 1 win. It's unlikely, but possible. Pretty funny when it works. I made a deck called "Suddenly Minotaurs!" that does nothing but maybe play 0 cost creatures and draw/discard until you have your combo and then suddenly four minotaurs with haste.

At 21:30, you could have grabbed the Glass Casket, then the next turn you could have upticked the Karn on their Spyglass, then played the Casket on it

I've been brewing with hammer in historic as well. Here's a couple of things to consider if you want to keep tinkering: Thud/Fling with an equipped Fireblade Charger will deal twice the damage on account of the Charger's death trigger, thus one-shotting the opponent in one action, you can even add Unleash Fury for extra spice. Also, you can try out a couple of Cliffhaven Kitesails to give your warrior evasion, then attach the hammer with RS after blockers / before damage, when the loss of flying doesn't matter anymore.

True, although Eidolon isn't super threatening when your creatures are huge and Cleave has its uses.

would it have been a good idea to take platinum angel at 40:06? it cant be removed by ugin and mono g ramp would have any other way of removing it besides casting another ulamog. Also, ulamog would only get in one attack before you had the mana for it.

Could have wished for the crypt, played it then minused Nahiri and activated the crypt in response to the trigger.
