Your deck is pretty awesome!!! I play commander casually. I built my deck differently. But, it's super fun. No mercy works well with propaganda. I gave up hay stack for smoke bomb. I gave up hidden blade for assassin's gauntlet. Restart sequence for tranquilize, then mjolnir, storm hammer. Vraska, the silencier for more treasure tokens, remain anonymous. Crucible of worlds, lake of the dead, and inventor's fair with expedition map. Thraximundar with phyrexian tower as many tokens that are made it's free mana and +1/+1. Lord of pain, arbaaz mir, razorkin needle head, and roaming throan. Shaun and Rebecca, the 2 assassin's that partner from assassin's creed, and the removal spell to get ezio blade of vengeance. Imperial seal, and demonic tutor. The trick is to combo off, get Desmond, make him unblockable for the finish. I don't swing with every assassin in a pod. I just swing with what is unblockable until I get unholy citadel or mountain stronghold. Thats right i brought back banding, and I baste it like a turkey. A fear turkey. Black gate brings great chaotic fun. You are hitting the person with the highest health or tied. Great for 3+ player pods. Royal assassin is still fun to run in the deck. Coastal piracy is great card draw.

Nice! Thanks for watching the vid! That list of yours sounds like a lot of fun! I really wanted to keep Desmond in the deck for thematic reasons, but ended up moving him to a new surveil deck I’m building. I’ve gone back and forth with Thrax. Might end up slotting him back in at some point since getting in a 7 drop for 2 is pretty great.

How is the basic lands set up all black?

Are you asking how I’m able to get black mana from most of my lands? Most of my lands have the “Swamp” type on them, so I can grab them with fetchlands for mana fixing while still always having two black mana available to cast assassins for the Freerunnig via Ezio. I only have two basic Swamps because I still want to work my way towards having all five colors for Ezio’s ability and for other spells in the deck.
