Loved drafting this set. We all had so much fun. I know there's an expectation of instant financial return from MTG product, but I'm not gonna lie...it feels kind of gross how quick people jumped on that train instead of recognizing the value of a well designed set. I feel like it sends the kind of message to WOTC that probably made them reprint all the valuable commander cards into a "premium" set like Double Masters 22 (instead of this one): "We don't want to have fun for less money; we just want to give you our money and win." And yes, technically the dungeon mechanic from original AFR works with the Undercity dungeon in this set, but the only way to get into that specific dungeon is from "initiative" cards in this set. 🙂

The stamp is a "signed" card when the artist didn't provide a signature.

Just a personal thought, I think this set will be super collectable later down the line, In the same sense of how people seek out old DnD miniatures or hard to find source books, one day the new generation of DnD players will see this, and be saddened to know they missed out on these cards. Atleast, that's how I feel. When adventures in the forgotten realms released, all my friends bought boxes, and we ended up almost finishing the collection of every card, excluding all the different versions. (We went out and purchased the few we were missing.) At the moment it's all sleeved up, and carefully stored away, but I get the feeling that at some point someone will want a full set for the artwork and the pride of a pristine collection, and I'm here to provide. As a DM yourself, you should know we all like the shiny D20 dice and artwork. To answer the question of is it good for commander? I honestly have no clue since I don't play too often, but having new cards, and some that instantly become staples for certain colors is always a good thing. I personally the set is underhyped. Lots of decent reprints, with some really good value if you get lucky. Ancient Copper Dragon was at a all time high not that long ago for almost $65.

Personally don't really like this set, pretty garbo in my opinion. Not worth the price. Doubt much of it will be worth anything in the future for commander either.
