Mtg Deck Tech: R/B Aggro in Hour of Devastation Standard!

Question: What's the one card that's not in the main that you think really should be? There's so many options for this deck that it's really fun to debate. I've had some of the best Mtg conversations of my life over the past two weeks while making this deck. I'll admit that Glint-Sleeve and Hazoret look weird together, but the nonbo doesn't come up too often. Drawing cards is never bad (unless there aren't any cards left in your library. Just wanted to say that before somebody else did).

Yep, Ammit vs. GSS was the hardest decision to make. In the end, I decided I wanted to lower the curve and draw some cards. Ammit probably does deserve a chance though

Hey Dev! Can you give a little more advice on side boarding? I liked in previous videos when you would suggest what to add/remove for certain match-ups. My main question is when should you side board into a midrange deck? Maybe against other ago decks? Thanks! My vote for next deck is G/R ramp

I watch every video that you post. Not because I play them but because I know tons of people will be playing it. I am playing creatureless control at the moment. It basically wrecks everything. Especially zombies. By the way, pyramid of the pantheon is the most underrated card in standard. I win games with it constantly. I have the utmost respect for your deck building skills. RAMP Sir, Love this deck I like the rakdos take on RDW... Will be running this soon on my new twitch channel. I started streaming because I was inspired by mainly yourself and other youtubers. Ours is a bit different. I'm not on Crawling Sensation anymore (started on a three-of), and I'm playing Hour of Promise despite the fact that it gives us a bunch of five-drops. HoP is reeeeeeally good. There's a couple of other things I'll save as a surprise, including a creature that I think you just have to play if you're making this deck

My differences are : - Lathnu Hellion and - the +3/-1 per turn mutation with - Supernatural Stamina to bring them back - Also Reckless Bushwhaker and, - Skin Invasion can be really good since you are turning sideways And cause of all the 1 drops the Bushwhaker is almost always surged. Cheers Dev!

Have you considered claim//fame as an option since you are running a few two drops. My only concern would be some of your low mana creatures already have recursion. It would be really good with Earthshaker Khenra though.

Maybe you've done this already, but have you thought about doing an instructional video on building a side board? While the card choices change, I've personally found the procedure is usually the same in every meta: Figure out strong, OK and weak matchups for the mainboard, then address which decks you're weak against and figure out how to use the sideboard to turn weak to either OK or strong matchups post board. Then ofc there's always trying to plan for, or guess, what sideboard options are out there for hate on your build and anticipating those from your opponent as to make sure what they add doesn't negate what you add. However, for newer players, it might be nice to see you go through that process with a deck tech as they can see that in action. Because let's face it, sometimes sideboarding is sort of an acquired skill that takes some time to get used to and seeing people do it enough does help. Just a thought.
