Back at one point in the past, at 1 card shop Nahiri, the Harbinger went even higher than Avacyn! Try seeing Nahiri go at $50 for 2 days compared to Avacyn at $25! Dude, Nahiri, the Harbinger is one of the massive cheat cards in Shadows Over Innistrad! Nahiri doesn't just go Red and White Mana, but also goes with Blue, Green and Black mana as well!! Besides, only 2 turns and you got Nahiri at an 8 Loyalty Counters! Next turn, bring ANY creature or artifact from your damn deck out to the battlefield for an immediate attack! Man, Nahiri is a strong Planeswalker unexpected, but still goes good with Arlinn Kord from that set as well! Still gotta complete my Nahiri/Arlinn Tag-Team Planeswalker Deck...

Something to note, as of this comment, there is 1 uncommon that is over the $2.00 threshold, Duskwatch Recruiter is about $2.75 tcg mid. I don't think it would have made a difference as I only managed to spot 1 in the first box, but in the future it may be worth it to look out for high priced uncommons.

Dear professor As a blind MTG fanatic I watch all your videos, and with the booster box game I make no exceptions. Are use the pins to count how many successes you have, but it would be far easier and more enjoyable if you could include small audio notations, just the name of the card and its price. It would be reasonably easy to pitch your voice to match the mood of the music, so this shouldn't be too disruptive to other people's viewing, you could even invite the cartographer to perform the voice-over. The recording of pack opening is irrelevant to the cards contained inside, I purchased my first booster box ever and Got 2 westvale 1 sorin 1 Nahiri 1 Arlinn 1 thing in the ice 1 declaration (there was 4 mythics, 3 foil rares)

Shadows over Innistrad is actually pretty fair value for what most places ask for each booster - but the set, like many, is insanely top heavy and I just don't see too many of the cards increase in value like stuff like Shocklands, Fetchlands etc. do. I personally "lucked out" and got slightly more than my money back from buying a Fat Pack (not great value for money if you don't consider the box, the lands, the spin down die and the guide - which I personally value quite highly) and 4 overpriced boosters at my LGS, paying 48 € in total and getting 2 Avacyns, 1 Westvale Abbey, 1 Gitrog Monster and 1 Seasons Past out of the deal, and cashing them out at roughly 53 €.
