Break out is great in jund. Using it to get grim flayer which when it hits will let you stack the top 3 cards of your deck. Also casting bloodbraid elf also hits break out to get another haste creature, like goyf, ravioli

love that card, in standard its rather neat of you get an Guardian of the Great Door turn 2. In older formats you can also get Myr Superion, Bayou Groff or good old kavu with haste for rather silly value

What do you think about the card Epochrasite? It'll enter as a 4/4 haste, and will automatically revive itself after a few turns. Guardian of the Great Door is a 4/4 flying, Myr Superion is a chunky 5/6, there's probably some fun creatures with abilities you can use too.

It's a very interesting card that I keep thinking about, but three turns is a long time to wait, especially if it's just for a 4/4. But you never know if it's possible until we try it! Epochrasite {2} Artifact Creature - Construct Epochrasite enters the battlefield with three +1/+1 counters on it if you didn’t cast it from your hand. When Epochrasite dies, exile it with three time counters on it and it gains suspend. (At the beginning of its owner’s upkeep, they remove a time counter. When the last is removed, they may cast this card without paying its mana cost. It has haste.) 1/1

I like you're Epoxhrasite idea but the others being a dead draw are to risky. Think about these though: Tarmogoyf obviously, also Radha's Firebrand might actually be amazing, and Jotun Grunt is funny (sideboard?) Edit: Werewolf Pack Leader!

I actually played Break Out in my version of Tribal Zoo and I find it quite good. The problem with your deck is the small number of creatures. You should have at least 26 creatures to minimize whiffing as much as possible. I also decided not to play the Scion/Leyline package and instead play Goyf, Scourge of the Skyclaves, and a few more one drops (Channeler and Ignoble Hierarch). I do know that the Scion and Leyline combo are very powerful, but the strength of Break Out lies in you getting the biggest creature possible and giving it haste, which your version does not really achieve. Having a 6/7 Goyf or a 9/9 Scourge with haste turns the tables really fast in your favor.

I'm sorry, but I gotta ask why you overboarded for yawg like that, lavinia shuts off... exactlt chord of calling and even then they will eventually get the lands to cast it anyway. I also dont see how meddling mage is worth it. If you name yawg, they chord for it. If you name chord they vast yawg not yo mention cauldron can get around it and theyre bringing in removal from side which makes mage even worse. Nacatl can at least attack into most of their early game creatures outaide of wall of roots. Stub also has *some* targets. I think cutting 2 and the 4 ragavans for the LoTV's and totem plus pyp makes sense. Sorry for the rant, still love the content either way
