It was my first Pauper deck and still has a special place in my heart

It was one of my first Pauper decks as well so I've always loved playing this deck!

your comment/description on the decks "deck speed" and "deck consistency" sounded like 10 or 9/10 but for consistency 8 I think. but speed shoulld be atleast 9 to me. you just said it, it can get its gameplan turn 1 and since it being a mono color deck in a format full of tapped lands, the consistency would be better than most decks. I think the weakness of the deck is really the recovery, you could've even go lower than 4.

All very fair points that you bring up the only reason I didn't rate the consistency higher is because despite having a new way to filter the top of the deck it still lacks any amount of card draw advantage. As for speed I probably could have ranked it higher I think I initially did rank it higher but ultimately chose to keep it a slight bit lower since you do have to be able to balance being smart about your protection spells and your creatures meaning sometimes you have to play benevolent bodyguard first then creatures which can slow down the speed of the aggro. It could have went either way I'm not saying you're not correct I'm just saying the reasoning why I chose to rank them a slight bit lower

Absolutely man while I know they're not flashy or anything I feel as though they're very easy to pick up on and learn how to play a deck even if you're a beginner and have never played the deck before simple and informative instructions seem to be hard to come by these days for any deck in this format!

Doesn't deftblade activate trigger cause it not to deal combat dmg to blocking creatures too? How does that benefit? 2:51

Thanks for the feedback.

@@GoldLotusPauperMTG I guess it benefits from blocking opponent's attacking creature prevent dmg and you still have deftblade untap on board.
@GoldLotusPauperMTG Жыл бұрын
That's true! It could be a good blocker against big threats like Terrors and Serpents. Good observation dood!

Provoke alone without activating the damage prevention ability is enough. When you combine it with first strike, it can kill many cheap creatures on the table.
