Replace glimmer of genius with Riverwise Augur. Same cost but you get a creature to help defend. Riverwise Augur 3U Creature - Merfolk Wizard When Riverwise Augur enters the battlefield, draw three cards, then put two from your hand on top of your library in any order.

Nice! Downside is you don’t get the instant speed of glimmer. You often want to glimmer on the opponent’s turn if you don’t have an answer to a new threat.

I think Drake Haven would be a great option. Just because if Second Sun is turned off somehow you got some options, and a little more board presence.

If you use Primal Amulet's land form (forgot the name) and use it's mana for an Approach of the Second Sun, wouls the copy win you the game? You do cast two Approaches.

No, Approach specifies ‘cast from your hand’ and the spell is just copied on the stack, not cast from your hand. You can combo Approach with Lich’s Mastery quite nicely, though.

I don't know if this deck still worth it, as a new and casual player I found this at 14 dolars the box, is it a good price? at least to take cards for a command deck?

Yes, it's still a decent starter deck for the Pioneer format. That's a good price too.

I thought value would be poor but seems like they included a good amount of mid value rares
