Received mine yesterday and it's everything I wanted and more. I've been meaning to pick up a few of the more expensive cards for my angel commander deck so this was PERFECT timing. I'm biased as angels are my favorite typal but 10/10 for me.

Moreover, got a reprint with the errata’d creature typing to Phyrexian Angel in the Brimaz March of the Machine pre-con. Tad frustrating that this new foil version doesn’t have it, otherwise I would’ve bought another copy from the Secret Lair for my Phyrexian tribal deck, love that card.

For everyone complaining in the comments. Deck comes with $250+ worth of cards. You get well worth your money out of this box. Plus Arden Angel which has never seen a reprint. Just resell that one card and make your money back once the price fixes itself in the market. Investment achieved here 🤙

While I am so happy that others are happy about buying this deck, I had to sit this one out because of the price tag. I was inspired however, to make both a Life-Gain and Angel Typal deck with a Card Kingdom budget of $99 each (excluding a few cards I purchased on TCGPlayer because CK priced them higher than market value). I am so happy that other people are happy with their new products and I look forward to playing against newer players and established players who may choose to bring this to the LGS for FNM!

Received mine yesterday. Played it straight out of the box and comprehensively murdered everyone. The new art is gorgeous, and the main reason I bought the deck, but it does play well (unlike the cute to brute precon).

@@TheNathan4122 still thinking about it but potential candidates so far ... Lyra Dawnbringer, Resplendent Angel, Linvala, Sephala, Serras Emissary. Also, obvious stuff like land tax and smothering tithe. I think Giada definitely needs to be the commander of the deck.

sorry for the stupid question.. are they (Bruna and Gisela) going to stay in the commander zone? if not you can choose wich one is your commander? anyway awesome deck!

You can pick which one is your Commander to start in the Command Zone, but only one, since they don't have the Partner mechanic. If you meld them at some point and Brisela dies, the one that was originally your Commander returns to the Command Zone and the other one goes to the graveyard (or exile, depending on what happened).

I do pu the display cards in my deck, allows me to find the commander quicker and also give me a free playable copy of rhe commanders for other decks, i znjoy this approach much more than the oversized

You don't shuffle the thick cardstock display commander into your deck. If you're not using it as your commander and you put it in your deck, it's considered a marked card since it's easy to see where it is in the deck.

Price point about fufty bucks too high. Shouldve come with a xenoskin deckbox. Actually now that I see it theres a great deal of good reprint value in there, its still a steep price unless you plan to play it as is or add some cards you already have. If one was looking to dismantle it and use some parts/trade some parts theres not alot of margin for value there.

150 bucks for a deck you have to upgrade yourself to make it kinda playable. -no snow lands (especially with the book already in the deck they could've thrown the combo in) -no smothering tithe, land tax, teferis protection, esper sentinel, silence, annointed procession, wrath of God, deafening silence, authority of the consuls or ghostly prison -where are avacyn, Linvala, Lyra, Baneslayer Angel, or even just for flavour Serra Angel?

@@tacocat8100 this isn't the point. the point is that a "premium product" like that should at least be better than a regular 40$ precon. Also the 300$ part isn't quite right, wotc sells the deck for 150 bucks so that's what the cards are worth at the moment.

@@MTGUnpacked the origin of the name is Germanic. It derives from the Old High Germanic word, gīsal, meaning pledge. The original pronunciation would have been something akin to gi-se-la or gee-seh-lah. That being said, pronunciation is all region based. In the US we pronounce it pretty much the same way you did and it's a strange thing to harp on. Regardless of the name's origin, since the card was created by an American company, I would venture to say that the pronunciation was meant to be the American English version. TL;DR you pronounced it right.
