I just played this deck on Arena BO1 (with three Shock and a Case in for the Blooming Blast) and went 5-9 in 58 minutes. Ran into Bats and other lifegain decks, Bx decks with the 6/6 snake that wants random nonland permanents to sacrifice (which incidentally have a bunch of foods to gain life if a 6/6 blocker on T4 isn't good enough), and other aggro decks (including a Rakdos Slickshot deck that hit for a perfect 20 on T3: plot Slickshot T2, then Slickshot into Felonious Rage into Mirran Banesplitter for 9, followed by flinging the Slickshot post combat for 11). The deck is fast for your dailies, but I was hoping aggro would be good enough early in the format to do better. It's better than mono-Red aggro (which I beat twice), but doesn't feel better than Rakdos Slickshot.

yeah blooming blast is nice in that they don't get the treasure until the spell has resolved, making it a for sure 3 damage, but I am entrenched in the 'never give your opponent cardboard of any kind' camp

I think that cacophony scamp should be replaced with Manafold Mouse. It targets so it will give the counter for Hero. Also, surprised not to see emberheart challenger. I do like pawpatch as an idea, but having to wait for the opponent feels bad.

Emberheart Challenger could work! But it would be tricky to have mana left over for the exiled stuff! Emberheart Challenger {1}{R} Creature - Mouse Warrior Haste Prowess (Whenever you cast a noncreature spell, this creature gets +1/+1 until end of turn.) Valiant - Whenever Emberheart Challenger becomes the target of a spell or ability you control for the first time each turn, exile the top card of your library. I've been super high on Aloe Alchemist so I'm happy to see someone else seeing the strength of that card. You're going to attack either way and if they remove the creature in response you still get the free 3/2 later.
