Sheoldred is going to be waaaaaaaay up there if she never gets banned out of Standard, the extended Standard rotation will probably put her well over 100 just in that format alone, if not over 200 since she has 49 points in 8ish months, and has another 28ish to go.

No way she gets banned. It's just a card that can be answered with 1for1 removal and the format is full of those. There are way bigger problems in standard like fable, invoke despair and wedding announcement.

When she was printed I had the good fortune of opening a foil copy of Sheoldred, the Apocalypse. I immediately took apart my Erebos, God of the Dead EDH and got to work on Sheoldred.

Kalitas is only underused *as a Commander.* Most of the time, he's part of the 99 as graveyard hate and token generation. Unless you're arguing that he's underused even with that caveat, which I'd chalk up mostly to his price tag.

What? Phage? No Phage? But seriously, this was a fun list. I'm certainly waiting in hope for the mono-Blue version of this list, and maybe Colorless, if you plan to make that one, but this list had some creatures I really like, and somevi even have a copy of, such as Yawgmoth.😊 I have my own issues with EDH, but it was also nice to see a list where that format is relevant. I know it usually doesn't need to be, for other lists, but since EDH has become such a chunk of the Magic scene, it's cool. Very nice video!

The adding of EDH points definitely isn't the worst thing in my opinion, but I do think that right now you're giving a bit too much weight to them. Just because there are a *lot* of EDH decks. Maybe 150-200, not sure yet. But what I am sure of, is my desire to get "Top 10 Vintage Cards (Minus Power 9)"!

Tergrid is a terrible commander to play against. However, the person in my group that runs her never wins anymore and complains endlessly about being 'targeted'. Its true- play a commander this oppressive and expect everyone to hold their removal for when it appears and anything that could protect it (like Swiftfoot boots) will also be targeted. IMO; the only reason Shelodred (which is absolutely busted) isn't more popular is her real-life cost. The recent reprints have cooled it off a bit...but not much.

Cards that were absolute staples for a very long time like dark confidant and tarmogoyf flew completely under the radar as well… other cards were super hyped and ended up being close to unplayable

Nice to see Commander stats being considered, too. Ever since you started that for the worst series I wanted to ask if you could just include the EDH deck numbers in every list. Not to be rated with points like in this one, just a nice to have impression of the cards popularity outside of tournament play.

I do feel with these legendaries, it may be worth upping the base commander points to 2:100 (because the designation is so important to EDH), and then (like the second tier top 8s), make every 100 decks it shows up in the 99 still get one point (because even being one of the 99-out-of-10000+ cards in the deck means it's still worth playing in the format, and some legendaries are very important to the format even if they aren't the commander, for example, Syr Konrad shows up in a ton of aristocrats decks beyond the ones he helms).

I stepped away from Magic for a few years because I was ao frustrated that Wizards just keeps printing more and more powerful cards in an attempt to get people to chase packs. I tuned into this video to check how things are going only to find that the best black Legendary of all time is a year old. Up to their same old lame tricks.
