11:25 IMO Palace Jailer was a slam dunk. It's an absurd card and you have Flickerwisp *and* Resto to possibly exile multiple creatures/take the monarchy back in an emergency. Great draft though, excited to watch the games and see how it turns out!

i recently went back and watched all of the GP Richmond and once i finished i started watching all of Reids cube vids. since then ive designed a cube and started getting back into magic after about a year off. feels good to be back..kinda hurts that i sold my whole collection lol. Reid is 100% my favourite pro and i would pay any amount of money to meet him lol. keep up the great content guys!

@Reid 6:34 I think I take the birds here. It's the strongest card in the pack, and it's still early enough in the draft that you could very easily end up base green ramp splashing blue and white.

Why would Tarn + Foundry be better than just Plains - just for deck thinning?

@@CaveShvig well if you cut tarn and foundry for 2 plains you lose a blue source. and if you just cut foundry for plains there's a risk that you draw both hallowed fountain and scalding tarn, making tarn dead.

Kind of surprised how low you were on that first pick, I don't mind starting with a blue fetch-land at all - it's where I expect to start in most Vintage cube drafts (unless I'm lucky enough to open P9 or Oko level cards).

The Microphone being directly over the keyboard and mouse with no filter was brutal on the ears.. ASMR & Magic is def not a great combo.
