Actually, you didn't even need to attack: you could've just recast Trostani and made a copy of either the Hydra or the Avenger with your Helmet at the beginning of your combat phase, giving yourself enough life to activate the Reservoir twice and secure your victory.

Great gameplay, Trostani Deck now is going great, really like the strategy behind it, now you did miss triggers from the copies of the wurm and the plant tokens with trostani when they entered the battlefield, you would've gain more than 50 more life, and you would be able to use reservoir in response to Atraxa's answer to the first activation.

That was a great game!!!!!!!!!! Wish Adam would have at least used a random Bant commander and had a Bant defender deck waiting. That, or something like Isperia, Supreme Judge as his commander. I realize that it was just a place holder deck, but almost anything would have been better. Haha.

1:45 You should've destroyed his Mana Crypt with that. Then he would've lacked the mana to cast his commander and also wouldn't have been able to cast his Engine here (2:23) either. Later on, he couldn't have recast his Crypt for 0 to storm off after the Cyclonic Rift (5:50). In short: Destroy Mana Crypts and Sol Rings asap, they're always top priority for artifact removal and also the reason why artifact boardwipes are so important. This makes Eric complaining about you killing Traxos (14:49) kind of hilarious.

I am not convinced that this is true in multiplayer. Artifact and Enchantment removal is limited in most decks and since games go a tad longer they will eventually get the enchantment and artifacts that can kill you with you now having no answer left. Of course that is situational but I would highly refrain form killing every crypt/sol ring on first sight. Always remember you play against more than 1 opponent, so trading 1v1 with one player is not good if you can avoid it.

I believe the issue at the time was, if I didn't cast the Behemoth I would not have had enough mana to do both. I think I had access to 8 mana?

Took a look at the Atraxa list and I'm pretty sure jace wasn't the card to grab with rector because I mean youre overpaying. You could have grabbed vraska or the new teferi. Also your trostoni deck is NASTY it's sweeeeet
