No that was his father, George Mukabi and colleagues. The original song was recorded in the late fifties/early sixties. I doubt if the son, this son Johnstone Mukabi was old enough to sing. He just sounds like his father.

This song was recorded in the late 50's or early 60's by George Mukabi. That George Mukabi died in early/mid sixties. He died tragically when he was killed by his in-laws after he had gone to follow up on his wife who had returned back to her parents. This man, Johnstone Mukabi, is the son of that late George Mukabi.
