I saw culture club back in the 80's when they came to San antonio,Texas. There were lots of Bible thumpers spewing antigay literature that they think quotes the Bible. Fantastic show by the way.

It's weird to think that they feuded back in the day. When Pete Burns died, Boy George actually paid for his funeral since Pete squandered all his money.

They were famous for how they looked long before they were famous for their music. Both had several newspaper and magazine features just for being fashion forward. (And Pete was getting coverage for his early bands' output since 1980).
