I gotta say, I LOVE the entire Shuga series. From Kenya to Nigeria, and now it's in SA. As a Black American, it's nice to see shows solely focused on BLACK people and BLACK experiences without the overarching white presence. It's nice. I gotta visit the continent one day.

We have a variety of people in Mzantsi (South Afrika) when it comes to people: people of colour (Coloureds or what is known as Mixed Race people in Amerika), different people/tribes within the black community: Zulus,Xhosas,Vendas,Tsongas,Sothos,Tswanas etc and Europeans (Afrikaaners/Boers and English speakers)... All these people are beautiful beyond measure :-) ...thanks for the complement BTW. I just found out about this series today and I love my local actors/actresses, especially the ones who have been on Generations and/or Isidingo soapies.

I loooooved this show. I'm so ashamed to say I had a very different image of S.A. I couldn't have been more surprised. I expected a lot of Caucasians on TV and that's not how I imagined the neighborhoods at all. All the cast is amazing and really talented. Keep the hard work. Love from Spain❤

I really do miss the Kenyan version,it was raw..showed both the slums plus the high life,The actors were superb,especially Lupita Nyongo and Nick Mutuma,to think this was among Lupitas first major gigs,bet she was excited to get that role.Hope it goes around Africa and show the different cultures which make us unique and actually we get to learn we are not so different after all.

Glad to see it back and in a new location. The women in here are beautiful. I already like Storm, Tsholo and Ipeleng. I would step in for Mandy. Love the music and Ipeleng looks really good and did an excellent job. Never go somewhere with out a guide in a place you are not familiar. I had a feeling something was going to happen to Bongi.
