The confidence he has in his talent makes him an incredible live performer. He used a strong, clear, loud voice when he was rapping and it worked so well! A lot of people seem to get a little uncomfortable and start speaking lower and with not as much conviction as needed which makes the performance go downhill for me. Love Em so much. Backing track he’s not lip syncing his mics live
@jack-uv6mt8 ай бұрын
@@BStone-qj4vg It's essentially lip syncing, the chorus on the album has like four vocal layers, and in this performance the chorus is played from the album and he sings it but you can only hear it faintly because it's very low in the mix, so most of what you're hearing is the recording. In other words, yes his microphone is technically on, but if it was off it wouldn't make a notable difference in the way the performance sounds. I'm not criticizing him in any way, he's a rapper, not a trained singer, if he was actually singing without the loud backing track, it wouldn't sound good at all. Listen to the chorus, does it sound like just his one naked voice? or four layers of his voice stacked on top of each other? he's not singing the chorus he's singing along to it.. Like you would if this came on your car radio... Also, don't shake your head at me.
