Soundous was never mastermind, she is just a manipulator nothing else. In last season Nikhil, I can say mastermind who not only saves himself but his friends & their connection too. Nikhil who genuinely played, not only he find true love but true friends who are still there, whom he fight for. Here soundous does nothing, no true love, no performance without hamid, no friendship, she just backstab everyother her friends by playing priority-priority game.
