I was 10 in 2000 and I remember my parents getting a 32” tv, which was not a flat screen, by any means and It had a bass and surround sound system and I thought it was the craziest thing in the world. They modified the tv stand for their cottage and had to use the actual “tv” section of the stand to hold dvds and the top of the stand for the actual tv because ther tv out there didnt fit in it. Oh how times have changed

I don't even remember was TiVo was for. What the heck was it? I remember when Blu-Ray came out and thinking to myself "given the rate that technology is changing, this thing is going to be out-of-date in no time" and never bought a blu-ray player nor any DVDs. Didn't take very long for that to be true.

aniwewe ahawhe lol! TiVo was basically a system that recorded cable TV to an internal hard drive, so that you could recorded the shows you want to watch then go back and play them whenever. Some people still use it but it was mostly replaced by streaming services
