If you were indeed born in these days, you wouldn't have been happier just for that. What you see from those days is what was in front of the camera, like celebs and big names of the time. Just like today, in those times the real life was much different than what you see in display. Plus, we didn't have as many gadgets, cellphones, info at the fingertip, so we had to make our fun. Everyone was in a click, hanging out with friends, bickering and fighting for status, just like these days. Nothing special.

I was born right after Kurt cobain died in 1994. For reasons unrelated to that (it just felt relevant idk), it was a cool time to grow up. Everything from Pearl Jam to Britney spears and a lot of awesome one-hit wonders. Great cartoons. Nintendo cartridges and computer games on CD-ROM which truly were gaming at its finest. Sugary snacks and drinks loaded with artificial colors that my mom refused to buy. What a time to be alive🙌🏻

@@tonyphills6075 it’s funny because the generation that came before the 90’s thought the music was trash. I remember my dad saying when he first heard rap in the late 80’s he didn’t understand how anyone could listen to it. I just think us as humans are negative in the present so we don’t appreciate stuff until it’s gone and in the past.

@@unbiascowboy1537 see this is the part that you guys have twisted because we loved every single second of the 80s 90s all the way up until 2000 that's when things started getting weird.. believe me my father told me and my brother that rap wouldn't last more than a few years when we was listening to LL Cool J back in the late 80s and I don't want to be that person that's always talking crap about the young people but you have to admit listen to the hip-hop that's out they're basically using that same ONE trap beat and they all harmonize saying the same thing in all songs you have to at least admit that that's true. If you like it that's good but we're just saying the creativity and originality is basically gone but I feel what you're saying 100% because I even tell OGs to not be so critical of the Young Folks but yet and still facts are facts

@@tonyphills6075 you have to look for the originality now. They aren’t pushing the people who are out of the box, they’re pushing who’s popular/ going viral. Mainstream radio isn’t really where it’s at anymore. There are a few artists who are an exception though when it comes to mainstream.

1990s were the time man. I was born in 90’ so my memories of the decade itself mostly exist in the latter end of the decade but boy were people much more chill and laid back than today. I would have rather been in my 20s in either the 80s or 90s than spending it during the 2010s but… at least I got to be younger in that period nonetheless. Today has gone purely political, uptight, racially divisive and has to be black-this or white-that…. Then it was just music. Black people enjoyed rock and white people enjoyed “urban” rap, it was totally mixed up. Although, radio was very segregated then. But still.. no one made a whine about it. And that’s what I miss. People just enjoyed themselves and each other. We didn’t have to cut everything up into a political divide or social policy or a race discussion. It just was……. People could learn a thing or 2 from the 1980s and 1990s. 2020s America would benefit as a result. Tho you can never repeat greatness. You can emulate it still and come close.
