OMFG what!!! Haley is so freaking cute and I love her adorable amazing she shed. I’m going to go follow her now! This video is so fun. Also I couldn’t agree more about too peachy lip liners, I don’t think they necessarily work for every look if you’re trying to get the perfect nude lip combo. Lately I’ve just been loving a good brownie nude whether I’m going neutral or colorful on the eyes, both on myself and my practice models! Also I have been loving the 420 lashes because of you. Thank you for sharing your life with us, I know it’s probably not always easy but these vlogs are very inspirational and helpful, especially for those of us in training like me! Yes her she shed studio was so amazing and she is a super sweet person :) Thank you! I'm getting more excited for schooling as it gets closer. The touch up kits are something I learned from another artist when I started in 2018 and have been doing them ever since. My client's love them!

Hi Julie! You're right, the She Shed is adorable! Did your pups freak out with the fireworks? We didn't have fireworks here because we had a drone show. But my dog still freaked out when she heard fireworks from a nearby city. I had to move my bed to get to her LOL

Yes it's amazing! Yes my dogs do freak out, but they aren't really scared of them and go hide. They'll just run around the yard like maniacs and bark haha! Aww I'm sorry your dog had to go through that as well. It's sad since there's really nothing you can do about it.

I charge an additional Artist fee of $100 ONLY if the client needs a shorter timeline. I take $25 from each client my secondary artist works on.

I started doing the $100 no matter what simply because of the admin work and coordination. I also provide the touch up kits for all of the clients so I feel like that is fair. Thank you for sharing!!

Hi thank you so much! I personally don't charge for lashes (although I do think about it when I set my rates), but some artists do charge extra for them. I made a kit sanitation video for my Kitmas series last holiday season. It's in my Kitmas 2022 playlist. I do all of that in between each person for cleaning up :)

Amazing vlog as always!! Haley's She Shed a Cute. You could charge an hourly rate for your secondary artist or you could do a 60% / 40% split. Freelance Artist takes 60%, and 40% would go to Contractor. 60/40 is the industry standard, but I would research Independent Contractor Rates in your area. 🤗

Thanks so much for sharing this :) I decided to do $100 assistant fee and then take $10-$15 per app from the secondary. There's one person so far that I have been working with that I'd never do this with though because she has the same if not more experience than me.

I love how your assistant is helping with the bride that y’all just did earlier 😂😂 When you spray your eyeshadow palette with rubbing alcohol does it matter the percentage? Also could a regular person who isn’t a makeup artist also use rubbing alcohol on their eyeshadow palette? Herr she shed is so cute, love the pinks and aesthetics.

It has to be 70% alcohol and anyone can use it on their powders of any kind to keep them clean!

Thank you for answering Kaleigh! Yes she is correct. 70% and I would try getting Isopropyl alcohol instead of rubbing alcohol. Haley literally had the cutest set up :)
