MUAR FOOD TRIP (Johor, Malaysia) • Seafood, Local Sights, Desserts!

Welcome to Muar!, the Royal Town of Johor!
I really enjoyed the short trip here to try the local food in this quaint place. There are also beautiful sights to see such as the Masjid Jamek Sultan Ibrahim that elegantly pairs European and Asian architecture. The must eat food-item here is OTAK-OTAK, or minced fish paste mixed with coconut milk and spices to become a squidgy fish cake texture. Really good!
