In Thailand they train a kick that's called in translation from Thai to English "alligator swings tail". It's pretty much the spinning hook kick. She knows American "Muay Thai"

So this is absolutely awesome you shared this. Last week this guy shows up at our karate club. One of those “I train muay thai and MMA for years” and proceeds to talk copious amounts of trash about spin kicks and side kicks. But he could not even begin to attempt a spin, or pivot his foot. It was obvious he didn’t actually train more than a few months at most. Just thought I would share cause I feel that strikers have good body awareness for striking and can usually figure it out roughly.
