jomhod brought out the sharpest somrak we've seen in a long time. later on somrak loosened up but you could always tell somrak took extra precaution and took more compact and fast kicks and punches, unlike his other fights with foreign Muay Thai fighters. from their first match you can tell somrak learned to get back into prime shape for a incredibly sharp veteran.

Ye, for years I am trying to find out who this absollute MONSTER of a BEAST I used to see in the 90s.. he steamrolled over fighters in a way I have never seen before nor since (until Fyotr Emelianenko).. MIke Tyson deserves a mention here too.. anyway, back ot muay thai.. this guy did punching combos which the muay thai back in the 90s almost frowned upon lol.. I think maybe due to the 'in the west boxing was so hyped', so they could have swinged so much at each other, yet didn't.. The guy I used to see, would on the other hand, do these amazing combos, which wevewn in boxing were magical, then BOOM, the sickest low kicks ever BOOM.. and the white in the eyes of even thai fighters became more visible form those kicks.. the fear and panic :p then the punches again BOOM.. he was the first guy I saw put a thai fighter to the ground which had ot be carried away by rtwo people as he couldn't stand no more, not even try.. He if I recall correctly, even did it at least once within first round! I have found some names but I am not 100% certain as I saw via Eurosport and no clips are from that.. However, I suspect that absolute monster of a muay thai god.. is Jomhod! I always seem to rememebr he had a nick name of Sinbad haha but seems it is a memory lapse.. Jomhod however had batman pants and it could be I am mixing up heroes? :)

If the guy I used to see is Jomhod, I think he must be the most underrated muay thai fighter around.. as he should clearly be seen as the best ever! ,p

Although dunno, could be Veeraphol too :D anyway, even others, I wish I had access to the old eurosport transmissions of muay thai (foreign aka European and native thai).. I would find the fights finally.

@les come on, a young lion beats a way past prime old fighter, is not that much of a victory. If you see Jomhods fight against Ramon Dekkers, youll see how good he is

Good fight. Somrak fights very confidently, and times his hits with precision most of the time. Jomhod brings out the best in somrak.
