I would like to acknowledge the person behind the concept as well as the story line, it's really on point. But the problem i have seen in the drama is that there is too much dialogue and because of that actors and actresses are finding it hard to give each other time, resulting to all of them competing to talk like the scene where Tamari was called and Mfundisi and the wife were just exchanging words which ended up being not realistic but African movie like. Also, your actors and actresses were not taking into consideration the meaning and importance of lag time as proposed Stanlavski who affirms that an actor or actress should have at least more time to meditate and understand the given circumstance around him or her before reacting. When Mfundisi saw nude pictures of her daughter he began to shout same with the mother both they didn't took time to build their emotions. On that same note, characterization of Mfundisi, wife and even other actors was not thoroughly done. Lastly, Tamari is a good actress and because of that she deserves a round of applause. She only need to work on building her emotions, not like what she was doing kungochema without showing tears. And, she has to work on her facial expression too that can also help her speak to other actors or actress without delivering any dialogue Above all, please reduce dialogue and tell your story lines with emotions and facial expressions consider yourselves to be acting silent films or dramas. thank you #filmcritic #filmmakerforlife #constructivecriticism
