I like your water shut off/on system too joe! We have a system in place that can be operated from your phone. You don't even have to be near the farm to control it. It also warns via text and shuts of automatically when it detects a leak. (More like too much water in a certain time). Pretty nifty. Works well in our horsebarns.

It’s interesting to watch you actually doing jobs. Normally you’ll just say you have a job to do, like mucking out, clearing branches from gateways etc, then you cut to after the job has been done. I for one, enjoy watching those jobs being done. Great video, thanks. All the best, Colin.

Nice to have seen a bit more of your Dad Joe, like TP and the Ginger Warrior it's always nice to see the difference in ideas between the older generation with their knowledge and the new generation namely you with your ideas. You might not agree on things but in the end the result is the farm progresses and that combined knowledge is passed on. PS: That remote for the water must have saved you a fortune in time not lost over the past year! 👌👍.

Probably a silly question but could you drill a slightly bigger hole through the water valves? Thinking would be that the troughs would fill quicker, mineral deposits would take far longer to build up to create a blockage and the additional water flow might even prevent the build up from happening…. thus saving you valuable time?
