Yay! Another ride with the Wheelers. My second favorite type of ride. 😉 I took yesterday off and did one of my favorite rides, 38 miles on and around the greenbelt. It was sunny and in the mid-50’s and mostly dry. I was diverted a few times by barricades on sections being repaired/resurfaced, so I’m learning about new parts of the path and the city. I’ll be glad when I get my Garmin, so that I can reroute and know where the heck I am. Using your phone for everything is a pain.

Yes John, a bike computer is the way to go. For me it relieved the battery anxiety. 38 miles in reasonable weather and a bit of off route adventuring to boot 😁 Sounds like our kind of ride... Thanks John

The biggest pothole I've ever seen is along Hawthorn Road, a road used a lot in these videos. I got stuck in it when the road was flooded and couldn't see it, an absolute moon crater.

Moon craters need to be avoided especially under a flooded road! I shall make a point of looking up where that is so that i can avoid it. Cheers Steve! 👌👍

I live near Lyndhurst and at 62 only started cycling last November after a 45 year gap, only have a road bike, dam I need to buy a gravel bike that looks so much fun.
