I scratched the bear claws and p/u a set of 28" zilla's on. Had them on my mud pro and liked them. just got them mounted yesterday, haven't tried them out yet

+XMARGH without a doubt, and some real mud tires lol I thought with an 1.5" lift on my Max i'd at least show the Gade up, but not even close. My buddy let me ride it and i'm hooked. Gonna sell the Max and get something a little more appropriate for the riding i do.

Hey Due North, where do you usually ride?? These trails looks sick! I was out riding today on wild man trail, apart of the COATV club and got stopped by one of the trail wardens suggesting I get rid of my exhaust. Mine has a looney tuned. I noticed you have an aftermarket exhaust to. Anyone give you problems about yours??

Wow, thats the first i heard about being asked to not run a particular exhaust. I have never had that issue while running local trails or OFATV trails. Just curious if the trail warden was older and crotchety? lol Might explain everything right there. We ride mostly private trails and OFATV trails near London...

has a lot to do with momentum the xmr hits it about 10mph an makes it look easy the others bout half that or less iv run silverbacks and megamayhems both supplied enough traction to wheelie in sloppy mud there are holes that if u hit them fast with megas u could make it that the silverbacks couldn't just crawl through

man my stock outty 800 would be so snooker'd in that hole. I'd like to upgrade the tires but don't want outlaws, Silverback or pure mud for the exact reason of trail riding. kinda leaning towards bear claw or mud lites. Even then I think that hole would swallow me..

Ya that hole would have swallowed you with Bear Claws or Mud lites. I'm even lifted 1.5" and still high centered. I'm really considering getting the Bear Claws for a dedicated trail tire... and save the mayhems for the mud days.

I think you would have made it if you had your law's. Any exact reasons for getting rid of the outlaws?

Ya i think you're right. Outlaws would definitely made the difference. Only reason i got rid of them was to try something a little more trail friendly but still capable in the mud holes. Seems like the Mayhems aren't doing nearly as well as i had hoped and may need to go back to a Silverback or outlaw... forgot to mention i also cut most of the centre lugs within the first 50 kms of riding since new. Waiting to hear back from ITP about warranty.

+OgCreations i think you're right. They would do well in this situation, just not so much for the amount of hard pack trail we do to get to spots like this.
