What you should do tho is put a one way valve on the crank case vent so if it sinks the water won’t go into the oil nearly as much

Use diesel to drain out the motor instead of wasting all the oil filling up with diesel turn it over a few times but don’t let it crank if it does crank it’s not gonna hurt it but don’t let it run for long and then drain the diesel. fill it up with the oil and it’s clean.
