Who knows why that Jenny died. It could have been a previous illness/disease, could have been old age, but I’m thinking it may have drowned. I’ve been told from a few that Mud crabs need to breath air and when trapped in a pot for 24+ hours they can drown. That’s why ghost pots are also no good for the creeks. Good vid boys

Thanks legend and yeh we where a bit stumped on it aye pot was only in for like 10 hours maybe, but yeh there was a lack of water flow in that creek

Hey lads a quick suggestion for yas, I notice you've got your crab pot bait set at the top of your pot, sometimes they will just sit ontop of your pot and reach through and get a feed instead of going in, try setting on the bottom see if you get some more. 🤙🤙
