First off you shouldn’t be unending these things if they are not waterproofed yet. In this video he waterproofed it so he can just wash it off with water later.

These trucks absolutely need motor, gearbox, and internal gear upgrades at the minimum to perform well. Fortunately, that's a cheap set of upgrades to do (if you get just the gears, but a gearbox upgrade for like $20 that comes with a new 370 size motor is totally worth the extra) and will give a lot of life. Bump steer issue is real. Good captive ball steering links will help or you can get a 3d printed axle mount for your servo that will remove bump steer entirely. Axle mount requires cutting the servo tray and would expose your servo to more mud, water, debris, and damage potential but it is absolutely going to solve the issue and may allow you to move steering link out of the way of leaf springs (if you upgrade to those). o/

It didn't break. Only loosened and can be fixed with superglue very easily.

It looks RTR, but the differences between the two kits are more internal than external. Same linkages and plastic housings are provided. The kit version has much softer tires so I am gonna say this is the RTR. Those tires appear to be hard as brick.
