Nice video, Mike. I grew up on an Iowa Farm in the 60's and 70's. Like a lot of farm boys I took Vocational Agriculture Class in high school. In 1974 the Farm Progress show was held at a farm near Vincent, Iowa (which is near Fort Dodge, Iowa) and our class instructor took the class there on a field trip. It was about a 180 mile (3+ hour) trip from our town in south central Iowa and we went on a school bus. It was a MUCH smaller event than the ones they have today. I think it was later in the year too, because I remember it being cold and I even think I remember there was some snow flurries that day. Another memory I have is of Decatur, IL when I was a trucker, and I spent the night there at the old Decatur Truckstop, which is now a Pilot Truckstop, back in the latter 90's. I remember that night watching the good ole movie "The Last Picture Show" (1971) on my little TV in the bunk of my semi tractor. That has always been one of my fave movies. Black and white. Starred ole Ben Johnson, a young Jeff Bridges, and a young Cybil Shepherd, and a whole bunch of great movie stars. I hope the ground dried out enough for you guys there at the show. Will be looking forward to more videos of the show. Have a good one, Mike!

I'm sure you've been paying your dues in the machinery business for a long time but for a tractor and equipment junkie I think maybe you've landed an ideal job! Travel the country see lots of really cool machines ,connect with the real world operators ,play with all the latest greatest Versatiles , and thankfully take us along so we can see it all from our recliners while we have the TV on for background noise! Hope the weather cooperates and the show goes well!

Very good video Mike, possibly one of your best. I never realized you were employed by Versatile. The cab layouts and ergonomics look very good as well as visibility. I could see the weather you were getting on the satellite reports, very depressing. Regards, JIM

Mike, love the video's and when you show up at Welker Farms. You guys spend some serious money bringing in tractors for the show. Nice looking machines and I love the colors.

Really like the looks of the Versatile tractors. Don’t know of any dealers in the mid Atlantic. Maybe on the eastern shore of MD. Wondering why the Freightliner unhooked from the detach and then rehooked and are the grain bins permanent displays or are they used? Wish I could make that show. Planning on commodity classic in San Antonio in February Thanks!

The Claas choppers with Terra-Trac will be very useful and I can see many farmers migrating towards them. I wonder when other companies will follow their lead? That Claas tractor with Terra-Trac is also pretty cool.

I always thought it was a good idea to order big 4wd tractors with a PTO even if you don’t think you will use it. It more than pays for itself on trade value. Used to be $15k option, $20k to add it later. Almost everyone uses them on grain carts now.
