@Marco Evans Nothing well in Hell. The prisoner number one selling folks holiday resorts from a prison of Death Row Only on his way there. Sweet talking of course - how else would people buy it. Typing this as I'm listening. Bouncier version than Wilbert's and just as wonderfully done. Skip beat on the drum is more prominent in this one. Muddy uses stop choruses where Wilbert doesn't. More soloing also. Definite distinction between rock 'n roll and blues versions.

Esto dice hoy el New York Times, entre otras cosas, sobre Pinetop Perkins: "His longevity as a performer was remarkable - all the more so considering his fondness for cigarettes and alcohol; by his own account he began smoking at age 9 and didn’t quit drinkin' until he was 82. Few people working in any popular art form have been as prolific in the ninth and tenth decades of their lives."

via Google Translate: "This theme was included in Muddy's repertoire of the late 70s, with the collaboration of Pinetop Perkins almost always, so that we have a few versions of it, both on disk and in video. This is the best, for my taste, thanks mainly to the superb harmony of Jerry Portnoy in third position (not the solos of Bob Margolin and Luther Johnson are snot of turkey, by the way). Warsaw, Poland, 1976."
